of highly qualified administrators, researchers and classroom instructors made
over the course of their education careers in the Kansas-Missouri region.

 Brent D. Ruben Award, 2013

For contribution to quality management in higher education and service to
the Network for Change and Continuous Innovation (NCCI).

The William M. Plater Award for Leadership in Civic Engagement, 2008

Awarded by the American Association for State Colleges and Universities (AASCU)
and the American Democracy Project (ADP). AASCU is a Washington, DC-based
association of 430 state comprehensive universities and affiliated organizations. The
Plater Award is one of only two national awards for provosts in the United States.
